Since the beginning (the first doll was made to be a present, just for fun) the creations of Monte Dragone have been characterized by the search of original solutions for materials and style. Our products are totally realized inside the Laboratorio, where Nadir and the sculptor Paolo Frigo invent the models, Stefania creates the costumes and interprets the characters by painting their faces. The assembly is made by a team of collaborators whose expert hands give the final aspect to dolls and other creatures.

The artisan ideal and handcrafted work enable Monte Dragone to maintain the highest quality and originality for its products. All are made in the finest porcelains and richly decorated with silks, brocades, velvets, laces, little bells and so on.

Since the first reinterpretation of the traditional dolls, Monte Dragone has been its catalog to include characters of the fairy-tales (as sprites, gnomes, elves and fairies) and of the Italian Comedy. Today, the collection presents about 150 different models, which are constantly adapted to styles, like Opera characters or collection dolls in limited editions.
